Ok, I say that a lot of these are my favorites, but... This one really IS my favorite. I mean, look at it! I love it. Heh, the kid that I made this for... I don't even know. He was like "Hook me up." And since I'm a sucker for doing graphics for free, I did it. Heh, no surprise there. Well, anyway... I would like to make a note that I made that vinyl from scratch (haha). It's not a photograph, or anything. I made it.
The idea for this CD looked much better in my head that it did in Photoshop. I didn't feel like killing myself over it, so... Blah blah blah. Everyone really needs a copy of this CD though. Mark Farina is AWESOME!!!
Lars wanted fires and skulls, so... I gave him fire and skulls. Heh, damn... Bats would've been cool. Oh well, I'll save that for "Lars #2".
Punk and plaid don't mix that much, but whatever... It looks cool anyway. I made this for my friend Tommy (duh), and he likes punk. Heh, he doesn't care... It was free.
Ah, Harry Potter... The movie rocked, the books rocked... My Mom needed the soundtrack. I like how I took clippings from the book and put them on the movie soundtrack. Haha, that's just cool.
I totally cheated in making this cover by just adding text from images that I pulled off of the DJ's website. Doesn't look too shabby though, right?
Hell yeah, this one rocks. I'm not overly-pleased with the wires, but I totally dig everything else. The CD rocks too!
Another five minute cover... I don't think it looks too bad. Haha, I just inverted the images. Sneaky, eh? (Not really.)
I hate this one. The front is only ok, but I really hate the back. It's hard to read. I didn't a terrible job on this one.
I think the back sort of looks like honey. Hehe, sure...
I spent a fair amount of time on this cover. It took me a while to get the flames just the way I wanted. The back is kind of dull, but I didn't want it busy.
Surprisingly, this was another ten minute cover. I don't think it's that great, but after showing it to a couple people, including the person I gave it to... They think I'm wrong. They think it's awesome. Heh, ok...
I actually spent time on this cover, as you can tell. My brother said that it's too bright, but forget him. It fits the CD, and it's not for me anyway. The soundtrack is for my Mom, and it fits her as well. The back is the best part though. It's all slick and stuff.
Yeah, this cover rocks. Tenacious D rocks in the first place. Haha, and it has a goat on it. I did this one in about 5 minutes, but it still looks cool. It fits The D really well too.
Ooh, look... Three more 10 minute-made CD covers. These were really easy, but I needed the covers. The DJ is rockin' and I needed covers ASAP. I don't think they look back though, just quick. The front looks better to me because I made that part. On all of the backs, I just found the pictures and sized them.
This cover isn't as great as all my other ones because I spent about 10 minutes on it. It doesn't really have anything cool besides the fact that I took the photo on the front. I didn't steal it from someone. But hey, it's the music that counts. Right?
I think this turned out really well. I made this CD for my brother's friend and I hope he likes it. He was asking for "good music" and I I hope this is what he thinks as "good." Heh, it's took bad if he doesn't. He can at least look at the pretty cover. It sort of looks like another cover but that's the look I was going for because it's a second volume.
I know that I already have this cover up, but I just made a new copy for someone and edited the cover. You can see that the track listing is a lot easier to read. All I really did was change the purple text to red. Oh yeah, and I did take off all the dedication crap I had on for someone so it wasn't personalized. I also added the UCN record label. It just generally looks better.
I really like the way the back turned out. I've been told that it's too grainy, but it's supposed to look that way. I was going for the old artifact look. I learned how to give images the burned look in Photoshop too.
I made a copy of Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park for my little brother and I think the cover turned out pretty well. It only took about an hour to do, and I think you can tell. It's not as snappy as my other ones, but it's still cool. Apparently, I left out a track on the back though.
I did this CD for my Mom because she wanted Beethoven's 7th on a CD. I added some other works and I think it turned out nicely. The cover isn't anything fancy. It's simple and gets to the point. The back looks kind of cool though.
I think this is my best cover yet. It's a down beat CD and the cover fits it. I've made a lot of copies for people. I think it's my best cover and my best CD. I arranged the songs really well.
Since my brother likes my Ian Pooley CD, Since Then, like so much, he made me burn a copy for him. I'm such a nice sister, so I made him a CD cover. It's simple, like all the other ones, but it still looks cool.
For this cover, I also took images from the game. Tropico is going to the same person that I burned Black & White for, but still... It serves its purpose. It's a simple cover: one image as the background and text for the title. I think it looks cool though.
I know that the following cover is kind of boring and uncreative, but it serves its purpose. It's a cover for Black & White, which is a PC game. I'm burning somebody a copy and that gave me the oppurtunity to make another cover. I just took images from the game itself and added a title. Nothing fancy...
The cover for Poolside Tunes is my newest piece of art. The title is very blunt in explaining that this CD is for the pool. I chose songs that I would want to listen to at the pool; they all have the sunny, happy vibe to them. The images on the CD are pretty blunt too. It's all related to the pool.
This was the first cover that I ever made, and I think it turned out pretty good. I wanted to give it the sleek and techno-like look. This cover was made for a CD for someone's birthday. I wanted to give him a good impression of electronica music because he was starting to get into it. I don't know if he liked the CD all that much, but I am quite proud of the cover.
I made a simple cover for Fantastic Plastic Machine. They are described as "sleek NYC grooves and super-70s Philly soul," hence the Liberty Bell on the front cover. Once you have listened to Beautiful, you will understand the chaos throughout the album's cover. I recommend this album anyway.
